Playing/coaching history: I played soccer in Pittsburg for as long as I could. They didn't have soccer at PHS when I was in high school. At Pittsburg State University I played on our club team for 4 years as an undergraduate student and 2 as a graduate student. I played mostly left back, but also played a lot on both wings and some striker. In college is where I began coaching youth soccer at the age of 19. I coached 10 years at Pittsburg High School and led the team to their first winning season in school history and the teams longest win streak (14 games). In 10 years I only had 2 losing seasons and those were my first 2 years.
A little about yourself: I love sports in general, but soccer is by far my favorite. Whether it's playing, coaching, being a referee, watching it on tv, or playing it on my PS5, soccer is my passion. I am a huge Liverpool fan. YNWA! However, I like watching whatever games I can find. Coaching is a passion and something I feel I am meant to do and for me the greatest thing is the relationships and friendships I have built with players I have coached over the years and seeing the joy on players faces when they succeed. Just being a positive influence on someone else is a reward in itself.

Playing/coaching history: As a club player in Omaha, NE I was a part of three State Cup champions and was twice selected for the state ODP team. My four year varsity career at Platteview HS (Springfield, NE) was highlighted by first team All-State selections my junior and senior seasons. I continued my playing career at Missouri Southern finishing with 15 goals as a four year starter at forward and midfield.
A little about yourself: I have coached for over a decade, beginning with Carl Junction FC before moving to Pittsburg in 2022. With six children, I’ve typically coached multiple teams each season ranging from U8 - U15. Since moving to Pittsburg I have coached with the Iguanas U8/U10 teams as well as the SEK Miners U12/U15 girls. My favorite part of coaching is seeing the kids develop their individual abilities and understanding of the game and growing together as a team. With four daughters, forming girls teams was a big goal of mine. Prior to our first teams in 2020 there were no girls youth teams in our area and we had to play a few seasons in Springfield, MO before we got enough momentum for girls divisions in the Joplin MSSL. Those girls teams have been my favorite accomplishment as a coach as it led to an increased opportunity for girls to play in this area and showed them that they can also come out on top against bigger clubs in Springfield and KC.

Playing/coaching history: I played soccer in St Louis growing up. Then I played football in high school and college. I've coached lots of football, basketball, and soccer at various levels but soccer has always been my first love.
A little about yourself: Just moved to Pittsburg in July 2024 with my family. Luckily my kids love sports as much as I do so we get to do a lot of things together. My favorite parts of coaching are seeing the kids learn, develop new skills, form new friendships, and have fun.
